PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Manti City Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Manti City Council Chambers, 50 South Main Street, Manti, Utah to receive public comment on the following . . .
- Proposed ordinance to eliminate conditional uses in the industrial zones.
- Proposed split of the industrial zone to two (2) zones as follows:
- Industrial 1
- Industrial 2
The proposed changes will eliminate conditional uses by making each previous conditional use into a permitted use, subject to certain safety and development regulations. The proposed split of the industrial zone will result in two industrial zones. The proposed new Industrial 2 zone will be substantially identical to the existing Industrial Zone. The proposed new Industrial 1 zone will include new permitted uses not previously allowed in the existing Industrial Zone. No property is proposed to be added or removed from the existing Industrial Zone; all currently Industrial Zone zoned property will be zoned either Industrial 1 or Industrial 2.
